Who am I and why should you care?

I help small business owners find their brand voice and put their products in front of the right audience.

I’m what you might call a triple threat – I’m a strategist, a copywriter, and a photographer. This diverse toolset gives me the ability to help build your business.

My story

Ever since I was a kid, I’ve enjoyed writing. While others shuddered at the idea of writing assignments, I welcomed them with open arms. But I never thought I would be doing it for a living. And yet…

While I was at university, a friend of mine started a job writing blog posts for a cleaning company. Accidentally, a team member got fired, so my friend arranged an interview. I went there, passed their writing tests with flying colors and that’s how my journey into the world of professional writing and SEO began. Dumb luck or destiny – I leave such judgments to you.

Writing about different ways to clean crap was hardly a dream job, but it was a start. It gave me a way into this world, yet it also started to drain me. It quickly became apparent I wasn’t made for the 9 to 5 life. I hated it. However, it took me several years before I felt I was good enough to make it on my own as a consultant and quit.

I haven’t looked back since.

My skills and competencies

Writing has always been one of my passions. Perhaps it comes from my interest in people. When I was a kid, we moved a lot, so I had to learn to adapt. Quickly. At some point, figuring people out became second nature.

That’s why I studied psychology in university. It helps with both brand strategy and copywriting because it makes it easier to understand people and their problems. And that’s what marketing is all about – people and their problems.

The synergy between these skills allows me to offer a unique service and help my clients in a unique way.

When I’m not banging away on my computer, I like to keep myself active. I go to the gym and I do boxing to keep my body moving.

And to keep my sharp, I read a lot. Reading and writing are the two sides of the same coin. Never hire a writer who doesn’t read.

Finally, when I’m not being productive, I like to chill out and play some video games. Although you might be forgiven you think that’s no way to “chill” if you look at my expression most of the time.

But anyway, enough about me. Let’s talk about you and your business.
